Welcome to my blog! I am finally taking the advice of others and am so excited to start blogging and tracking life with technology. I am the slowest writer in the world although I have fantastic handwriting (it's my only claim to fame). So, consider this my online diary.

I currently live in Houston, Texas with my husband of almost 5 years (woah, time has flown). Don't worry, I am not an obnoxious Texan with Texas Pride stapled to my forehead. My entire family is in Indiana and throughout the opposite side of the country. Instead of telling my story several times, I am hoping to update everyone with my blog. I have an adorable daughter named Kinley who will be a year old in January. I knew I always wanted to be a "stay at home mom," but when I held her for the first time . . . it was official. I quit my dream job of teaching first grade and decided to turn Kinley's playroom into my mini classroom in hopes that she will one day play school as I used to.

WARNINGS: Some would call me extremely dramatic (especially my sister and mother). I type as I speak - so if you are into grammar and proper punctuation then move along because you will hate me. I can't cook to save my life but thanks to Pinterest I am slowly becoming a better cook  Domesicated Goddess (that sounds so much better). I am obsessed with crafting, organizing, and anything related to my family and house.
